A fun project, I tried to come up with inventive covers for one of the most popular and covered books of the last century. For the first redesign, the idea was to take one of the most iconic lines of the book and let it speak for the cover. The title would be on the spine, but the cover, with the author's name printed large, would say all that needed to be said.

For the second book, the inspiration was the famous Russian Constructivist posters of the Early Soviet period, (http://3v6x691yvn532gp2411ezrib-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/A.Rodchenko.jpg) and the idea was to create a similar feel and style. Using bold, angular type, and original Soviet art, I came up with a Russian Propaganda book cover.

The third "books" feature the amazing language of the book itself. Each cover uses different passages of Orwell's original language and each is unique in itself.
