In Sicilian folklore, the "Donas de Fuera" (or Women from Outside), were witches who would give gifts of food to townsfolk who travelled in the forest. In the assignment, a gelato company wanted to brand and market an upscale Sicilian ice cream in America. In my take, Donas de Fuera strikes a homemade, playful tone with a dignified yet eye-catching design.
