The assignment was to design a book cover for a Jazz Age cozy mystery. It was to be the first in the series and was to take place at a Manor House in England. The illustrator did some passes to get the right feel and with that, I used a lovely Art Deco typeface and an elegant Edwardian frame to complete the right feel for the fun little mystery. It was accepted by all at Penguin Random House and was published.
